“Spent a few nights while I had some renovations done to my house, and I would recommend and will stay again if needed. The location was convenient, tucked back so it was quiet (thank gosh). My room was clean, and spacious. The housekeeping staff I met in the hallways (didn’t get their names sorry) were nothing but kind and Trent at the front desk was great; very helpful and nice when I checked in. Breakfast was bagels, there’s a little nook that wasn’t crowded which was nice. Thanks for a nice easy stay!”
“I used to stay at this location regularly under the Quality Suites brand, at that time it was a former Comfort Suites that failed to meet brand standards, and it got pretty bad towards the end. But it was sub $60 for a suite and there were no bugs. This was my first time staying here under Spark by Hilton. I will say they did a really good job on the rooms, clean, bright, almost everything is new in the rooms except the PTAC units LVP flooring. Hallways and lobby also now clean and fresh. The elevator is old and should be updated. My only concern with the room is there is no charging port near the desk, only on the end tables. Also no alarm clock, ice bucket or coffee in the room. Not even so much as a plastic cup was left in the room. But you can get ice buckets, coffee, and plastic cups down in the lobby on 1st floor. The check in was rather odd. It took almost 15 min, the masked attendant kept telling me to stay safe and its crazy out there...then described every item that would be on the breakfast buffet. She was friendly enough, but please speed up the check in! The room made up for it tho, good bed, shower, TV, furniture. I booked on super for $75. At that price its a good value...at $109 I think I would pass. Also interesting note, they closed down the pool and fitness room during the conversion.”
“I stayed here by accident because I got stuck in a snowstorm on my way home from Indianapolis. But it was a great accident, because the room was very spacey, quiet, and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is right next to the interstate and lots of restaurants, so the location is great too. Highly recommend.”
“We checked in very late at of driving in town for the IU/Ohio state game, and despite the hour, Joe at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were settled. He took the time to explain the WiFi codes and even showed us exactly how to adjust the heat in our rooms so we would be comfortable. When we came back down later realizing we didn’t have any ice, he immediately got some for us—top-notch service! The hotel itself looks fantastic after the remodel. You can really tell the difference with the brand new TVs and the beds were super comfortable. The room was spotless, with fresh towels and a noticeably freshly stocked cupboard. It’s rare to find such a nice facility paired with such genuinely helpful staff on the night shift”
“For a budget-friendly "value" hotel, this property exceeded my expectations. I stayed here during a very difficult time while my wife was in the ICU nearby. The staff was incredibly compassionate and caring, even offering me a late checkout to help me rest. The only thing the staff did not do was get me my Hilton Diamond water / snack. The Room: The rooms are spacious and have been remodeled at some point. They were in good shape. However, I did encounter two issues that affected my sleep. First, the HVAC unit was inconsistent; during the cold, windy night with a huge temprature drop, the vent blew heat from the center but outside cold air was blowing in from the vents at the ends. Second, the walls are quite thin, and I could clearly hear a neighbor’s TV. Amenities: Breakfast consists of a simple bagel bar and cereal. It’s a solid cold breakfast, though I’d love to see high-protein options like protein bars and some fruit. Overall, the staff is the "star of the show" here. The lady who checked me in and manager who was on his way out made my arrival above expectations. While I’m not sure if I’ll return due to the noise levels, the service was far better than I expected for the price.”
